Why You Should note run the crack for Windows 7

26 Feb

Two crack for Windows 7 has now begun to spread on the web. RemoveWAT and Chew-WGA claims to be able to pick off Area of activities none of Windows 7, but it is not a good idea to run like this.

Both tools RemoveWAT and Chew-WGA trying to get around the activation of Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, to allow users to run pirated versions of Windows 7. It was the blog My Digital Life who first wrote about “cracking” .

Microsoft is aware as ComputerWorld to programs and working on a solution for it.This is not the first time like this happens, Microsoft and their software, and the usual solution is to fix this by updates from Windows Update .

Hypothetically it is possible to then turn off the updates to Windows, but it would be extremely stupid for safety. It will periodically review the security updates that clogs newly discovered holes in the system. Ignoring these will over time make your computer open to attack.

Another security issue with crack tools is that they often come with spyware and viruses of all kinds. Many cyber criminals use the crack to spread their viruses, because this is a popular program to download and install.

Even more likely is that the new virus infected versions of RemoveWAT and Chew-WGA will show up on pirate sites, which Sunbelt Blog writes about. They have probably already done.

Series G, Logitech

15 Feb

Series G, Logitech

Series G, Logitech, is bristling references that players are not ready to give up, even against two barrels of laundry. The G13 is a concept, in line with the n52te, Belkin. A cross between a layout that we have removed the redundant controller and a minimalist. With twenty-two keys, shortcuts macro, a mini joystick and ergonomic shape, Vaio VGN-FS battery intends to revolutionize in-depth the way you play, you push in your corner, behind the Maginot Line of the fragment mass. And then?
Let’s face it, before any bliss, the adoption of the G13 requires a pain in childbirth. First, you need to configure your machine. For this, Vaio PCG-Z505 battery must go through the installation of drivers, to the tunes of Russian dolls, as there are functions in cascade. They are not always helpful and really hungry RAM. If there is no household, the G13 and its drivers attach it close to 95 MB of memory.
Configuration
Fortunately, if the optimization driver is still not safe from Logitech, the panel is extremely well designed and clear. So you can quickly change your settings.
For if the arrow keys are generally suitable for all games, eighteen other keys require to be addressed. Counsel, since this is a new start, do not hesitate to change the layout of controls compared to the one you used on your keyboard until you find the best available. Keep the keys still higher for recurring actions (knife, reload, etc..). Indeed, in use, Sony VGP-BPS9A/B must be admitted that the keys of the lower two rows are not always the easiest to hit in case of emergency.
Take its brands
Whatever you do, you will have to go through a small learning curve. Although very comfortably rested, your hand is not in its usual position. This may disturb you a bit. Yet after a few hours of play, we appreciate the ergonomics of the G13. The broad-based and napped at the wrist, the two small buttons and the joystick that falls under the thumb very naturally, all that extra comfort and avoiding muscle fatigue due to poor posture.
The joystick may be for travel, but Sony VGP-BPS9A must admit that we’re not very used. The twenty-two keys are already plenty to deal with. Especially since you can assign macros to any of them or to vary its functions based on profiles.
Backlight and screen
To mark the difference between the profiles created the backlight changes color: blue, red, green, etc.. A handy backlight at night, you can turn off though. Arrows (G4, 10,11 and 12) being slightly curved, one indeed finds its bearings quickly, even in the dark.
Finally, the LCD screen which overcomes the G13 provides access, choice and depending on the configuration, information on your machine, on the current game or on the outside world through an RSS feed. In truth, VGP-BPS9/B do not really have served, holding that it is more a distraction than anything else, even if we know the players appreciate that. We can not say either that it is a useless gadget.
What games?
Comes the question of interest. Despite our attempts, we failed to adapt to the G13 for other games shooting games. Manage a set of real-time strategy and adventure with this device complicates the task. Maybe he should spend more time, but it’s always frustrating to lose because we do not control many brands.

Playing Tetris makes you smarter !

14 Feb

Who has not played Tetris? It’s probably quite a few of us who are stuck for hours in front of this now cult puzzle game, which has garnered so much success around the world. But did you know that Tetris is good for the brain and can make you smarter?

The classic Tetris was invented by the Russian mathematician Aleksei Pazjitno v 1985th The most famous version was released in 1989 and then by Nintendo for the portable game console, the Game Boy . We who are in their 30s will remember the white console with graphics in greyscale. Here one could sit hours in and hours to reach the blocks in the game correctly.

Now I read in Pryltrend.com that all gambling of Tetris may indeed have been useful. Researchers have examined how Tetris affects the brain and they found that 1.5 hours of gaming per week influenced the development of girls’ brains in a positive way. Webzine Curious Vital has written an article about the research report on Tetris .

Since the Game Boy showed up Tetris for the whole world, it has developed an infinite number of clones of the game. Nintendo themselves have run ahead and build lots of variants, including Super Mario in the lead role. I myself have spent many hours on trains and flights to play Tetris for Nintendo DS Lite .

Tetris is the greatest security for all platforms – PC and TV consoles. There are also plenty of games to find on the Internet, you can run directly in your browser. Do you want to try one of the many clones that are of Tetris, you can try JellyTris , which is a cute version of the addictive puzzle game.

So if you want to develop your brain by playing Tetris, there are many ways to go. The research report Curious Vital writes about says it does not require a lot of gaming. It only takes a few minutes every now and then, for the brain to develop, and that example will get easier to make faster decisions. A question raised Curious Vital agrees, is whether computer gaming can make us generally more intelligent . It does not sound quite incredible.

Today I play not so much Tetris anymore, but rather put time in a similar puzzle games such as Shoot the Gems . I find it relaxing and of course insanely fun. But while I see how happy the clock ticking away too quickly …

What puzzle games of this type do you like? Is Tetris is the favorite?

Review: Iomega eGo Encrypt, secure and portable hard drive

30 Jan

A major risk with portable hard drives is that they are easy to steal. If you plan to store important data on your hard disk, it is important that you protect the data in different ways. Iomega eGo Encrypt is a portable drive that has built-in protection.

Iomega eGo Encrypt looks about like most portable hard drives in the company’s eGo series. They build on the hard disks of size 2.5 inches, which is positive in the way that they both will be relatively small and does not require any external power other than the USB connection. You do not need to lug along a power adapter. The chassis is solid steel and around the connector has a protective rubber. Iomega calls its solution Drop Guard, and the hard drive is designed to withstand the drop from 2.1 meters height.

The first time you plug in the device starts a program that asks you to fill in the disk’s own serial number and a password. You can also choose to complete the password questions, the usual about where you were born and what your mother’s name before she married. These questions are then used if you forget your password. The next time you connect the Iomega eGo Encrypt to a computer, to start a program that requests the password. When you enter the lock disk and you can use it like any other entity whatsoever. In addition to password protection, all data is also stored encrypted using AES encryption to 128 bits.

Through the program, Flash Memory Toolkit, I tested how fast it was to write and read to the device. The complete numbers you see in the table of images below. The speed was around 20 MB per second, which may be regarded as clearly acceptable. The data is said to also be encrypted and it takes a bit of power.

Iomega’s drives have always been a bit more than most others in terms of price. 1900 SEK is the asking price for the Iomega eGo Encrypt, but I think this is not too much. The unit holds 320 GB and the security offered is clearly worth the money, if you want to make sure that no one can access your files.

Facts about Iomega eGo Encrypt:

  • Contact: Iomega
  • Size: 9 x 14 x 2.5 cm
  • Weight: 268 grams
  • Capacity: 320 GB
  • Encryption: AES 128 bit hardware encryption
  • Interface: USB 2.0
  • Target price: 1900 SEK

Picasa – organize and fix your digital photos

28 Jan

Google bought for quite a while since the imaging tool, Picasa, and they have not been lazy. The program is developed continuously and will in the new version. Picasa is now a very powerful tool for all digital photographers. Its strength lies in the organization of your digital photos. Instead of copying the images from the camera to somewhere on your hard disk, you make it through Picasa. The program will then index your images in a database, which makes it much easier to find specific images in the future.

In addition to organized like Picasa also contains all basic features for editing photos. With a few mouse clicks, you can fix your pictures to get the colors and brightness. There are other exceptional features to crop and scale. Picasa is translated into Swedish. Google has done well.

A plus is that you can create web albums to upload your images on the Internet. Via Picasa and Google, you get free space for publishing your photos, although the free version is rather limited in terms of storage space.

Paint.NET – who has grown a replacement

It began when a programmer seriously tired of the horrible Windows Paint, and decided to make a replacement. Paint.NET was added, and since then it has constantly evolved to now be an easy to use but funktionsspäckat image editing program. You’ll find all the basics to quickly fix the color, contrast and brightness of digital photos, but there are also effects and you can even work with layers.

Paint.NET is an excellent choice for the beginner who is looking for a program that is easy to use. The interface is neat and easy to understand. There is also a Swedish translation to charge you. Once you’ve downloaded the program on its website, and installed it, please download the Swedish version and install it. Then the program works in our mother tongue.

17 Jan

The digital video cameras are becoming smaller and cheaper. Toshiba now presents two new models called the Camileo P10 and P10 , which is known as YouTube cameras.

Toshiba Camileo S10 and P10 should arguably be about as small as a deck of cards. S10 is the thinnest model in the series with his 18 millimeter. Otherwise the two cameras seem to be equivalent.

Both models can record video at Full HD resolution , 1080p, and uses Digital H.264 HD to save the movies with. You can also use it as regular digital cameras. Qualitatively it is not clear how good they are, but considering the price tag and they called for YouTube cameras so you can probably not expect that it is possible to use them to shoot a feature film. The aim is rather to simply be able to make decent recordings.

The name Youtube cameras based on the fact that both cameras have a feature that lets you publish your videos directly to YouTube. Once you have the camera connected, you should be able to send video clips with just one click.

Can also be mentioned that it is possible to connect cameras directly to a flat-screen TV via HDMI. Camileo P10 and P10 has 128 MB internal memory and can be expanded up to 32 GB via memory card. They have several different recording modes, and an image stabilizer.

Toshiba Camileo P10 and P10 will be in stores in mid-June, and has a target price of 2100 SEK and 1850 SEK.
