Asus introduces Netbook with Intel’s first pine-Trail platform B
The 10-inch netbooks and 1005P 1005PE come to the manufacturer’s specifications, thanks to a six-cell battery with 4400 mAh of up to eleven hours without mains. The 1008P is supplied by using a removable battery (3850 mAh) create a maximum of twelve hours.
The Atom N450 CPU running at 1.66 GHz as fast as the N280 predecessor, but uses less energy. The processor has 1 GB of DDR2 RAM and a 250 GByte hard drive (1005P 160 GB) to one side.
The 10.1-inch LED-backlit display on the 1005P 1005PE and anti-reflective coating is in contrast to the glossy screen of the 1008P. It dissolves with the typical 1024 x 600 pixels.
